Jim served with the Missouri National Guard for 16 years and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Charleston.
Cox, Robert Technology Education Scholarship
Preference for granting this scholarship is to be given to the graduates of Smithton High School in Smithton, Missouri and Woodland High School in Marble Hill, Missouri, in that order. Mrs. Walker received her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1953, and a Master of Arts in Music Education from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, in 1970. She was also a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, a women's professional sorority, and was honored by Phi Delta Kappa at Southern Illinois University in 1979 for distinguished service in education.
He also appeared in Sesame Street singing "Time to Say Goodnight" a parody of "Time to Say Goodbye" as a lullaby to Elmo. On 21 March, he performed at the Music for Asia benefit concert in Rome, televised on Italia 1, in aid of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake appeal. In September, he performed his "Once in a Lifetime" tour in Australia with concerts in Sydney and Melbourne and one concert in Christchurch, New Zealand, where he was joined on stage by New Zealand soprano Hayley Westenra. Bocelli won the "Favourite Specialist Performer" award at the UK National Music Awards in October 2003. In November he once again toured in the United States, this time accompanied by Ana Maria Martinez, Kallen Esperian and Steven Mercurio.
Williams, E. Victor Scholarship
Miss Bertie Ora Cleino graduated from Maplewood High School in St. Louis County. She entered Southeast Missouri State University in 1933, earning her collegiate expenses by serving in various capacities in administrative offices. She began as a student assistant to the Secretary for the President and became the President's secretary two years later.
On 26 September 2008, during the 2008 Veneto Festival, he held a concert in the Church of the Eremitani in Padova, Italy. He was accompanied by the I Solisti Veneti orchestra, celebrating its 50th birthday and conducted by Claudio Scimone, and by the Wiener Singakademie choir. The concert was a celebration of Giacomo Puccini's 150th birthday. On 19 April, Bocelli made his United States debut with a concert at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., followed the next day by a reception at the White House with then US President Bill Clinton. On 5 May, he appeared in Monte Carlo, winning two World Music Awards, one in the category "Best Italian Singer", and one for "Best Classical Interpretation".

His third album, Viaggio Italiano, was released in Italy in 1996. He was invited to sing a duet with English soprano Sarah Brightman at the final bout of German boxer Henry Maske. Brightman approached Bocelli after she heard him singing "Con te partirò" while she was dining in a restaurant.
In November 2004, Queen were among the inaugural inductees into the UK Music Hall of Fame, and the award ceremony was the first event at which Rodgers joined May and Taylor as vocalist. On 23 November 1991, in a prepared statement made on his deathbed, Mercury confirmed that he had AIDS. Within 24 hours of the statement, he died of bronchial pneumonia, which was brought on as a complication of the disease. His funeral service on 27 November in Kensal Green, West London was private, and held in accordance with the Zoroastrian religious faith of his family. Citizen, maintains a GPA of 2.8 or above, and is a dependent of an active-duty military service member, guardsman or reserve member, or of an honorably discharged military veteran. First preference will be given to a student with a Christian affiliation. Patricia and her husband John, both recognize the importance of being an actively contributing citizen. Together, they carry that attitude forward helping and mentoring others wherever they go. Patricia is the proud mother of three children who have all launched successful lives and careers, a Pediatrician in the Navy, a Director of Communications, and a Doctor of Education.
Her career in high fashion was based in Boston and New York City. As a print and editorial model, she worked and traveled extensively for a gamut of clients including Saks 5th Avenue, Lord and Taylor, Filene’s, numerous furriers, perfume companies and many prominent designers. Dr. John C. Bierk, retired professor of English, sponsored this scholarship in honor of Dr. H. O. Grauel, Emeritus Professor of English at Southeast Missouri State University. Dr. Grauel began teaching at the university in 1928 and was an exemplary faculty member throughout his tenure. Tim has served as President of Benton Hill Investment Company in Cape Girardeau since 2001. He was previously the Chief Financial Officer for Health Services Corporation of America for 16 years.

This number is fewer than the 500 retired military officers who endorsed Republican nominee Mitt Romney in 2012. Texas Senator Ted Cruz was a primary rival for the Republican nomination. But as the primary season went on, Cruz went on the attack, calling Trump a "bully" and a "pathological liar", and Trump took to referring to Cruz as "Lyin' Ted". Trump repeatedly claimed Cruz was not eligible to be president because he was born in Canada.
In Belgium, "Con te partirò" became the best-selling single of all time. Boyd began appearing in national commercials weeks before the season started in June. During his time in Los Angeles, Boyd lived in the Sheraton Universal Hotel. He went to work each day at CBS Studio Center, located in the Studio City district of Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley. Boyd was president of the Student Senate at Southeast Missouri State University, where he was also a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. While in college, Boyd interned at the state capitol in Jefferson City, Missouri.
First preference will be given to the grandchildren of Earl and Margie Holland. Second and third preferences, respectively, will be to a Caruthersville High School graduate and a Hayti High School graduate with a 3.0 GPA, financial need, and willingness to attend Southeast Missouri State University. The scholarship award is to be used for fees and is open to undergraduate and graduate students.
She also studied flute with Dr. Charles Smith and Paul Thompson. Dr. Chapman is survived by his wife, Nona Nan Chapman, and his children Jennifer Jean Albertina and Christopher Paul Chapman. Mrs. Chapman has two daughters, Leslie Ramelle Lipps Sarna and Lisa Michelle Lipps Bratina.
Application forms are available in the Theatre and Dance department. Applicants must schedule an appointment with the department for an audition or portfolio presentation. The recipient of this scholarship must be a traditional student from Williamsville, Missouri. They must have junior status with preference to those applicants with financial need. He was a gentle and kind Christian man committed to creating a safe home where one could learn, grow and seek all that God could enable.
Dr. Robert Butler, a Webster Groves dentist, established this scholarship in memory of his mother. Phil (’72) and Steve (’78) feel a strong connection to Southeast Missouri and are especially grateful for the education they received at Southeast. Phil and his wife Nadine Thomas currently live in Sarasota, Florida.
